CONCORDAT GRADUATES LAUNCH IN HOUSE OF COMMONS
With only 2% of registered drug users getting the opportunity to benefit from residential rehab, the Concordat of rehabs formed in February to raise this number to at least 10% in the next few years. But the best ‘voice’ for residential rehabilitation is that of those who have graduated from it...
In July, the Concordat Graduates formed at a meeting in London. They aim to network over 30,000 alumni or 'graduates' from Concordat rehabs, with whom they are in contact, so that more addicts can benefit from the opportunities they had to get into long-term drug-free recovery.
In October, Sadiq Khan MP officially launched the Graduates in the House of Commons, with Mount Carmel rehab, which is in his constituency.
