CONCORDAT WELCOMES EATA FOLOWING ITS LEAD
The Concordat of providers of full recovery welcomes eATA following its leadership: the latter will set up a working group to meet in autumn “to advise its interim chief executive on issues affecting residential rehab providers”.
The Concordat has been invited as an observer and is willing to offer its unparalleled expertise in abstinence and full recovery; included in those offering a helping hand are Concordat members who had resigned as eATA trustees this year.
“While EATA has not had a reputation for supporting rehabs, even when more than 20 closed in as many months, we are cautiously optimistic that its interim CEO is willing to consider collaborating on common issues that we might identify,” said a Concordat spokesperson. “We must rebalance our treatment system so that more than 2% of patients manage to get referrals to rehab.”
