CHAMP AWARDS

Diageo has sponsored the Champ Awards, a biennial scheme aimed at recognising projects in England, Scotland and Wales which help prevent children aged 14 years and under from misusing alcohol - both now and in the future. The Champ Awards, each worth £20,000, will be given via Mentor UK. They are in three categories: schools, communities and young-people-led projects. You can nominate your own project or someone else's and activities can be as diverse as young people putting together their own websites, classroom-based work, sports scheme or mentoring projects in the community. The winners and runners-up will be chosen by young people aged 14 and under.
